What we've done
Mara Sommer Photography.
Mara Sommer is an Auckland photographer whose work plays out between characters, objects, textures and light. Her portfolio is typeset around the images so the work carries the whole site.

The project
What it does.
01
Images first
Large stills and video take the page, with the type laid out around them.
02
A strong typographic voice
The stacked name gives the portfolio a signature without competing with the work.
03
Representation
Contact details for Mara and for her agency, The Collective Force, are always within reach.
Responsive
On every screen.
Laid out for each screen rather than squeezed onto it: the same site on a tablet and a phone, with the navigation, type and images reworked for the space.
